My Experience
Organizer
I’ve mobilized community members to action for economic justice and corporate accountability, knocked countless doors for progressive candidates and issues such as SeaTac Proposition 1 for a $15 minimum wage, and marched in solidarity with striking workers across many industries. I am dedicated to organizing for a more racially just Democratic Party, and recently co-organized a coalition calling for systemic changes in our state party and campaign committees.
Political Strategist
Since 2018, my consulting firm has successfully worked to elect dozens of progressive candidates to local and state government. Authentic community engagement is at the heart of our strategy to increase representation for communities of color and working families. We were named Consultants of the Year by the MLK Labor Council in 2019.

Policy Advisor
As a Legislative Aide at the Seattle City Council, I convened community, business, and labor stakeholders to craft policy related to affordable housing, transportation, land use, and civil rights. I wrote legislation and collaborated with community advocates to establish the Seattle Renters’ Commission, the first of its kind in the country.

Social Worker
I hold a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Washington. I lead with compassion and a commitment to race and social justice. Communal and personal wellness are interconnected, and we must work to dismantle the systems of oppression that have led to generational trauma for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and the over-policing of Black communities that persists today.
Political engagement is just one way we can work to revamp the current system so it is more accountable to us.
Awards & Recognition
I’ve worked on behalf of progressive champions at all levels of government
